“Our bodies are mostly water, therefore the sound vibrations move through our cells like a wave - a deep sonic massage.” Lori LeBlanc
Join us for an extraordinary afternoon of yoga, meditation, and sound healing. We will explore Yin Yoga, a quiet, nourishing practice that supports the body's ability to let go and relax into wellbeing. The postures, all of which are done on the floor with long holdings promote deep release in the connective tissues and deep peace in the mind. We will be bathed in the therapeutic vibrations of the sacred Tibetan Singing Bowls. The bowls invite us to open our hearts, clear our minds, and enter into a deep well of silence. The retreat will support the body's desire to heal and restore balance at all levels. Come as you are and relax into a deep sonic massage.
Lori LeBlanc is a Sound Healer and Licensed Massage Therapist since 1994. She is Certified in Polarity Therapy, BioSonic Repatterning, and Tibetan Singing Bowl Therapy. As an artist and musician, Lori’s passion for music led her to explore the healing power of sound. Lori offers private sessions in Belfast and group events throughout Maine. The consecrated seven metal alloy singing bowls were handmade in Nepal more than 100 years ago. During their creation, prayers and mantras were offered to support the bowls' healing intention and for inspiring the awakening of consciousness.
