Yinyasa Yoga is a blend of yang (active) and yin (passive) yoga. The class begins with dynamic vinyasa flows, connecting breath with mindful movement. Vinyasa yoga is an active practice, warming the body, raising energy, and increasing flexibility and strength. The second half of the class includes deep, cooling postures held for 3-5 minutes. Yin yoga is a passive practice, releasing tension in the connective tissues, rejuvenating the organs, and quieting the mind. This hybrid class is a powerful way to clear blocked energy and restore balance throughout your whole body. Everyone is welcome. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not required. Join us!
