Garrett Vail

Garrett Vail

Garrett began a daily yoga practice in 1998, and as he says, “I can’t imagine life without it.” He was trained at Kripalu in 2008 and has been teaching, primarily in Belfast, for eight years. Garrett’s main goal is to help students experience the freedom and insight a yoga practice has to offer, one breath at a time. He invites everyone to discover a spacious, truer Self and encourages a safe, mindful approach throughout his classes. For Garrett, yoga practice has limitless possibility to help ease physical pain, to quiet the mind, and to live more skillfully on and off the mat. In addition to teaching yoga, Garrett is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Maine, Augusta. He lives with his family in Belfast.
