Taylor Ackerman

Taylor has been practicing yoga since 2008 and was trained in Hatha yoga at Ashiyana Yoga Center in Goa, India in 2011. The practice and presence of yoga has been a important grounding force for being able to move gracefully and compassionately through her life. In her classes, Taylor encourages awareness and development of a mind body connection, as well as attention to safety and the cues communicated from the body. Her passion for mental and physical well being started with yoga and has developed into collecting the requirements to obtain a higher medical degree. Taylor aspires to be apart of the healing community that blends Eastern and Western philosophies in a patient-centered approach to health. In her free time, she can be found reading, swimming, climbing, sailing, rowing, playing in the woods, exercising her dog or eating good food.
